The title isn't exactly applicable (saying the president of Bolivia is facing his biggest test is like saying the Cubs' general manager is having his most challenging season), and this reporter's stuff hasn't always been that on the mark, but this article does a good job of giving context to the range and depth of opinions regarding current west-east tensions.

Seriously? A (prominent) U.S. senator is giving credence to U.S./Bolivia relations? Sweet! And, not only is this bipartisan six-senator delegation led by Reid giving credence, but Bolivia was also the first country they're visiting on their current tour. ("Mighty little country" strikes a bit pejorative, but hey, at least they're there and noting the potential.) Ken Salazar (D-CO) also was a highlight, adroitly addressing local government and media in native Spanish.
